Pick parts at one spacing and place them at another in a single motion. Stroke and speed are set through your PLC — from two stations up to 5,000 mm of travel, with full custom engineering for parts that don’t fit a standard model.
What a variable-pitch module does
The module mounts at the end of a robot, manipulator or linear axis and works together with grippers, suction cups or electromagnets. It changes the spacing between parts between the pick and the place — raising throughput and taking manual handling out of the loop.

Mount at the end of the arm
Fits a robot, manipulator or linear module, and carries grippers, vacuum cups or electromagnets as the working tool.

Set parameters in the PLC
Pitch-change stroke, pitch-change speed and related parameters are configured through the PLC control system.

Command on demand
When a pitch-change pick-and-place is required, the PLC sends the command and the module moves to the set parameters.

Pick and place
The module drives the tooling to pick parts from the tray at a fixed pitch, then places them at the changed pitch in the target position.

Adjust throughout the cycle
Stroke and speed stay adjustable to suit different part spacings and changing production requirements.
Six variable-pitch series
Choose by how the pitch has to change — equal spacing across every station, unequal spacing, fully independent stations, pneumatic two-point travel, scissor-lift for long spans, or synchronous adjustment on two axes.
